US Wings is proud to re-introduce the Original Pattern "Raiders"-style Jacket, based on the specs of Neil Cooper, who designed the original movie jacket three decades ago. While there are many Indy-style jackets available (including our own), this original pattern jacket hasn't been seen for almost 30 years! Following Neil Cooper's specs to the letter, we painstakingly recreated this classic jacket and will be offering it in a choice of four leathers: cowhide, calfskin, striated lambskin, and horsehide.
Features include two front cargo pockets with side-entry handwarmers, pleated action back for freedom of movement, side adjustment straps with rectangular buckles, an interior pocket, nylon lining, nickel zipper, and plain cuffs & bottom.
The leather, graining, and antiquing process makes these truly beautiful jackets to behold, but don't let their good looks fool you: these aren't mere "fashion" jackets -- they're tough & rugged enough to stand up to real-life adventures (should you ever find yourself dodging gigantic boulders, outrunning angry natives, or battling Nazis in a burning bar).

Back by popular demand! We first produced a "striated" lambskin jacket back in 1985 but this type of jacket has been absent from our current line for quite some time. Our striated antique lambskin Indy-style Hero jacket starts with the finest French lambskins, which are hand-stretched to achieve its unique striated appearance. This results in a wonderfully "grainy" and rugged-looking jacket (and no two jackets will look exactly alike).
Features include two front cargo pockets with side-entry handwarmers, pleated action back for freedom of movement, side adjustment straps, two leather-trimmed interior pockets, nylon lining, heavy-duty brass zipper, and plain cuffs & bottom.

Our horsehide Indy-style Hero jacket is tough as nails, yet surprisingly soft & supple. While horsehide was quite plentiful in the early 20th century (horsehide was the original spec leather for the USAAF's A-2 jacket back in 1931), it's not a particularly common jacket material these days. It's extremely tough and durable, making it the leather of choice if you ever find yourself being dragged behind a truck or battling Nazis atop a moving tank.
Speaking of tanks, this jacket is built like one. Its heft, toughness & durability will be immediately apparent as soon as you slip it on! It's made from the finest Italian horsehide (making it more than suitable to wear for a night on the town) and features two front cargo pockets with side-entry handwarmers, pleated action back for freedom of movement, side adjustment straps, two leather-trimmed interior pockets, nylon lining, heavy-duty brass zipper, and plain cuffs & bottom.

 Our authentic Collectors Edition Indy-style Adventurer jacket is constructed from a very special pre-distressed cowhide. The leather is from the same tannery that supplied the leather to the studio to create the on-screen jackets worn by the star of the 2008 movie featuring that famous fedora-wearing archaeologist. This leather, which duplicates the look of the movie leather, is a very soft chocolate brown cowhide and features a variety of graining, scuffs, range marks and distressing to give it an authentic "vintage" look. The jackets are not churned out on an assembly line, but are handcrafted from handpicked hides to ensure the utmost quality. Other features include: two front snap-flapped cargo pockets with side-entry handwarmers, bi-swing back for freedom of movement, adjustable side straps for a custom fit, top & bottom snaps on the windflap, and an inside pocket. This authentic Indy-style jacket is similar to our adult Vintage Cowhide Indy-style Adventurer jacket, but in kid sizes! Like the adult version, the cowhide leather in our kid-sized version has been pre-distressed for that old & worn look, since no young adventurer would want to be seen in a "new" looking jacket. The jacket also features a bi-swing back for freedom of movement, adjustable side straps, two front cargo pockets with snap flaps* for storing relics, a nylon lining, and two inside pockets to carry even more gear. Looks great alone or when coupled with the Kid's Officially Licensed Indiana Jones Fedora, and the classic style of this jacket makes it suitable for both boys or girls. Imported.

The Original! The Perfecto is THE classic (and most widely imitated) motorcycle jacket, first introduced by Schott back in the late 1920s! A favorite of bikers, rock stars, and badasses worldwide, it was also worn by Marlon Brando in the classic 1953 movie The Wild One. A copy of this jacket is also worn by one of the featured characters in the newest Indy movie, but the Perfecto is the original. It's also the real deal: a true motorcycle jacket, constructed from tough & heavyweight cowhide leather, meant to be used as essential riding gear for bikers (it's not merely a "fashion" leather jacket styled to look like a motorcycle jacket).
Features include a naked cowhide leather shell, quilted nylon body lining, bi-swing back, classic style collar & lapel, underarm gussets, plenty of pockets (3 front zippered pockets, 1 snap-flapped change pocket, 1 inside chest pocket, and 1 inside map pouch), belted waist, zippered sleeve cuffs, poly-cotton sleeve lining, and snap-closed epaulets. A bit of fiberfill insulation has been added for warmth and the jacket features heavy duty zippers & snaps throughout, including the snap located on the upper back of the jacket for attaching an optional fur collar (fur collar not included but is available separately below).

It's constructed from crushable water repellant wool felt. You can roll it up, fold it, stuff it in your pocket or pack, and it will spring back into shape when you're ready to wear it; just shake it out and put it on! This outback-style fedora features a slightly wider 3" brim with bound edge, and the sides of the brim feature a more pronounced pre-formed upturn (which is characteristic of outback-style hats).
